After walking around Taal and taking a tour of the church, a cold drink sounds refreshing. Somewhere near the Basilica, there Cafe G was. Unlike the typical cafes, Cafe G is seasoned with love.
Cafe G is a pastel themed place that’s fully furnished with cute colourful decors giving you the homey feel, which I personally love. Quotes, sayings, and phrases filled the cafe, hoping to be the place where you’re filled with positivity and feel more relaxed. They have a small swimming pool at the backside which suits small parties and gatherings. Also, a photo booth was present so you can snap some pictures while you wait for your yummies.
I ordered different kinds of iced tea and they were all heavenly. I ordered a Caesar Salad as my appetizer then went on to my main course, which is seafood carbonara with garlic butter bread in the side. The food is affordable and has just enough amount of serving. I finished off my pallet with a blueberry cheesecake which melts in your mouth and water. I rate the food an 8 out of 10.
Overall, the experience was satisfying.
You don’t have to cook fancy food or complicated dishes just good food from fresh ingredients. – Julia Child
